(This will also help Dr. Theresa give you better feedback on your Intro, Task, and Conclusion.) Then you will write your first drafts of your Introduction and Conclusion.

The History Channel executives want to try airing an original series since their mini series Bonnie and Clyde, which was made in collaboration with AMC and A&E, received mixed reviews. They are hoping to make this new series fun, dramatic, and factual with characters that win the audience's hearts. They are hoping to focus on the 1800s since this was a time of such dramatic change throughout our nation. They hope to use this new form of show to attract new viewers to the station which will help more people become interested in history. In order to make this show successful, the executives need to find a great team of writers with a strong passion for history.

Conclusion
(Tie everything the participants have done back to the Goal. Why did they go through all of this? Tie the scenario to the real world. Remind them of the "Big Idea" that they were supposed to gain from this, just in case they didn't make the connection on their own. Don't get preachy. If you ask a question here, it has to be rhetorical. No work or assignments should be included. Short is good.)
Your show is a success!! The executives love the plot you have created and appreciate the strong attention you have given to making your pitch factual. They believe you are just the team they have been looking for and they are ready to call you in to sign your contract. Your show will help illustrate to the American people the many changes of the 1800s. These include the work policy changes of the Market Revolution, spiritual changes from the Second Great Awakening, and all the changes created the issues that would lead to the civil war.
